In this triumphant film, director and actress Rachel Ward voyages from her own wilful ignorance about the ecological impacts of conventional agriculture, to championing a movement to restore the health of our farmland, food and climate and in doing so the wellbeing of the farming communities that sustain the nation, and ourselves. Rachel's Farm is for anyone who cares about how their food is produced, how degraded our soils have become, and the changing role of women on farms.

Can a functionally extinct reef system be brought back to life? “The Oyster Gardener” is a short (10 min) documentary that follows the story of Jolie, a grade-12 student and aspiring marine biologist, as she joins forces with her community to bring back the lost oyster reefs of the Noosa river.

In this short (7 min) documentary, film-maker Marlikka Perdrisat forms a dreamlike expression of her intergenerational connection to Country; a connection available to everyone who loves and cares for a place.

As the film travels through Lower Nyikina Country, we feel the intention to slow down and observe. Discussions of Country centre the film, including a conversation with Marlikka’s mother Prof. Anne Poelina, a renowned human and earth rights advocate and a highly regarded academic.

This film is about knowing Country, creating memories with Country, and maintaining Country for the next generation.

Award-winning director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream. Structured as a visual letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board of how these solutions could regenerate the world for future generations.

“Regenerating Australia” is a short hybrid-documentary set on New Year’s eve 2029. A news anchor is looking back at the decade-that-was; showing how Australia transitioned to a fairer, cleaner, and more community-centred economy. Each news segment is grounded in research and modelling, with the narrative guided by the voices of Australian communities. Featuring real journalists, citizens, politicians and business leaders, “Regenerating Australia” constructs an authentic vision for the future.

“What is Regeneration?” is a 5-minute short documentary and a rousing call to action for people to join a global movement of regenerators who are working to heal our social systems and ecosystems.

The film features climate action leaders like Jeff Bridges, Paul Hawken, Christiana Figueres, Kate Raworth and Damon Gameau, and other regenerators from around the world.
